Jackets place Lebda, Methot on IR

02/10/2012 - Columbus, OH (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - The Columbus Blue Jackets placed defensemen Brett Lebda and Marc Methot on injured reserve Friday.

Lebda was signed by Columbus on January 19, and has picked up one goal in five games since.

Methot suffered a broken jaw in Thursday's loss to Dallas. The 26-year-old has totaled one goal and seven points in 46 games this season.

To fill the roster spots, the Jackets recalled defenseman Dalton Prout from Springfield of the American Hockey League and goaltender Allen York from Chicago of the ECHL.

Prout, 21, has totaled three goals and seven points with 41 penalty minutes in 41 games for the Falcons to this point.

York made his NHL debut on October 25, and has gone 0-1-0 with a 3.52 goals- against average in four appearances for the Jackets this year.
